1. The service
Wirescript Studio is a browser-based environment for designing, visualising and simulating electronic circuits, with an AI assistant that can edit your schematic on request. The product is under active development; features may change, and parts of it are offered as an early-access preview.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity on your account.
- The information you give us at sign-up must be accurate.
- You may close your account at any time by writing to us.
3. Plans, billing and limits
Paid plans are billed monthly through Polar, our merchant of record, and renew automatically until cancelled. Polar issues the invoice and handles any sales tax. You can cancel or change your payment method at any time in the Polar customer portal; access continues until the end of the period you already paid for. Each plan carries limits — number of projects, circuit size, daily AI messages — which are enforced by the application. We do not refund partial periods unless the law requires it.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to break, overload, probe or circumvent the service's limits and protections.
- Use the AI assistant to generate unlawful content, or to extract our prompts and models.
- Upload content you do not have the right to upload.
- Resell or redistribute the service without our written permission.
- Use automated means to create accounts or to consume the AI quota of the service.
We may suspend an account that breaches these rules, and will tell you why unless doing so would harm an investigation.
5. Your content and who owns it
The circuits you design remain yours. We claim no ownership over your schematics, DSL code or simulation results. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, transmit and display that content for the purpose of operating the service for you — for example sending the relevant part of a circuit to the AI provider so the assistant can answer, or rendering it back to your screen.
A separate, revocable licence covers product and AI improvement, described in the next section. It is optional and you can withdraw it in Settings at any time.
6. Data we collect
Using Wirescript Studio means data is collected about that use. In summary — the full detail is in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of this agreement:
- Operational data. Account details, subscription state and the content you save. Required to provide the service.
- Error reports. When something fails we record the error type, message, stack trace, the page involved and a reference code. You will see only the reference code; the details are never shown to you and never contain your schematics or chat. These reports cannot be switched off — the service cannot be operated safely without them.
- Product analytics. Usage events and circuit statistics (component, net and wire counts, simulation outcomes, timings). No schematic content. Optional — see below.
- AI interaction data. For every AI run we record the model, mode, message count, tool usage, duration and outcome. If you leave the "Improve the AI with my content" switch on, we also store the text of your prompts, the assistant's replies and the resulting circuit DSL, and we may use this material to evaluate, test, fine-tune and improve the assistant, the circuit engine and the product. Optional — see below.
Your controls. Settings → Data & Privacy in the editor contains two independent switches — Product analytics and Improve the AI with my content. Both are on by default and can be turned off at any time; doing so stops future collection in that category immediately. To have data that was already collected deleted, write to hi@wirescriptstudio.com.
Where we publish or share anything derived from this material — benchmarks, example circuits, aggregate statistics — it is aggregated or de-identified. We do not sell your data.
7. The AI assistant — no engineering guarantee
The assistant produces suggestions, not verified engineering. Circuits it generates, values it picks and simulations it runs may be wrong. You are responsible for reviewing every design before building it, and the service must not be used as the sole basis for safety-critical, medical, automotive, aerospace or high-voltage work. Simulation results are approximations of a model, not measurements of a physical circuit.
8. Availability
We aim for a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, third-party outages (database, AI provider, payment processor) and failures may interrupt it. Keep your own copies of work that matters to you.
9. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or for damage arising from a circuit you built based on output from the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including for death, personal injury or fraud. Where liability can be limited, it is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
10. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms or the law. On termination we will, on request, give you a copy of your content and then delete it, subject to the retention periods in the Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes — especially any change to what we collect or how we use it — will be announced in the product before they take effect, and the effective date above will change. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the new terms.
